Druckwerk is a screen interface composed like a press sheet: a halftone register rail, oversized grotesk headlines, and one vermilion crop mark that means a thing is true. Black ink, warm stock, no decoration.
Three jobs hold every screen together: lock the forme to the grid, pull the halftone proof, register the one vermilion mark. The structure is visible, and the screen does the texturing.

Tone resolves into a dot raster — solid in shadow, open in light. The screen is the material.
One vermilion crop tick aligns the run and earns the only colour on the sheet.
The ground is warm press stock, not glare-white. Set in Archivo with IBM Plex Mono for the index; corners are square; the only colour is the vermilion that signs the registration.
