Smalti
Vetralia Metro · Night

The night
runs on cut glass.

Smalti is the dispatch surface for the small hours — every line a bounded glass tile pressed into black grout, terrazzo platform light underfoot, the whole network drafted in ink.

What it is

One material, three jobs

Bounded colour

Each line is one glass tile, held inside black grout. Colour never bleeds — it zones the network the way a mosaic zones a floor.

Terrazzo light

Speckle is clipped to the surfaces that earn it — platform floors and selected wells — so it reads as polished material, never wallpaper.

Drafted in ink

Hard offset slab shadows and 2px grout lines give every panel furniture-like presence on the deep ink concourse. No blur, no glow.

The signature

The mosaic signal wall

Tile the legend larger and it becomes the destination matrix; tile it again and it is the platform wall. The mechanic scales from one chip to a whole station.
