Reproduction Desk — est. as a fanzine bench

Run It
Off, Twice.

Mimeo is the production desk for short-run duplication. Queue a job, set the offset, pull the sheets. Every run carries its own registration marks — nothing pretends to be pristine.

Three rules of the bench

MANIFESTO
RULE 01

Show the build

Borders, rules and offset shadows stay visible. The interface looks assembled from stacked sheets because it is — structure is the decoration.

RULE 02

Type does the steering

Hierarchy comes from condensed uppercase mass and stamped mono labels, not from colour. You scan the masthead before you read a word of copy.

RULE 03

Marks left on

Crosshairs, serials and a single vermilion register mark stay on the sheet. The misregistered second pass is the signature, never an error to hide.

How a run goes

FOUR PASSES
01

Drop a ticket

Title, stock, reduction. The desk stamps it with a DUP serial.

02

Set the offset

Pick the misregister: +4px, +0.6°, crosshairs on or off.

03

Pull the run

Watch the gauge fill. Hold on low ink, swap, resume.

04

Box & close

Collate, stamp the manifest, log it to the run ledger.
