Phosphor green is reserved for the lead and the live mark. It is reversed paper read through solid ink — not a wash, not a glow.

Amber registration marks pin the sheet to the bed at every corner. The plates are aligned before a line of type is set.

Reverse, don't float
Surfaces are knocked out of solid ink, not lifted on shadows. Depth is ink coverage and reversal — the broadside lies flat on the bed.

Fold before column
Every layout begins at the foldline. The page is poured down it; the gutter and its hairline rules do the dividing.

One plate of light
A single phosphor plate carries the signal. Amber marks the register; everything else runs black at full coverage.

Type set in cold metal
Anton sets the masthead in stacked condensed caps; Spline Mono files the specimen data. Big and blunt, then small and exact.
