Caliper
Precision metrology, on screen

Measured to the last graduation.

A dark instrument-grade interface where deep violet holds the structure and one chartreuse vernier marks the single live reading. Built for software that has to be exact.

01The principle

Everything is read off the rule.

The page is the beam of a caliper. Gradations run the full length; values are clamped to the scale, not floated in space. Authority lives in the violet jaws that set scope. Significance lives in one chartreuse index — the vernier — and it only appears where a value is genuinely live.

No glow without a reading. No rail without a measurement. Restraint is the instrument.

02Signature mechanics

The engraved rule

A graduated measurement rail anchors every layout — major and minor ticks, never a decorative texture. Structure you can read.

The chartreuse vernier

Exactly one index per scale carries the signal colour. It marks the live reading, the threshold, the decisive moment — under five percent of the surface.

live signal only

Violet jaws

Selected tabs, current scope, and primary actions are filled violet capsules — the supervisory authority that frames what is being measured.

Caliper translates the discipline of a measuring instrument into software: calm violet authority, one honest live signal, and gradations you can trust. No rainbow, no glow for its own sake.
