SIGNAL-ANALYSIS DESIGN LANGUAGE

Read the wire like a live trace.

Beamline is the interface language for the reverse-engineer's bench: every panel sits on a measured grid, every reading is a glowing waveform, and one warm beam-peak marks the only thing that is locked right now.

HOW IT READS

Three habits of an instrument, not an app.

Phosphor traces on a calibrated field, channels you arm by hand, and a single amber peak for what's live. Information-dense, but every figure lands on the grid.

The trace is the spine

A glowing mint waveform divides every section and backs every number. Soft corner ticks frame each panel — calm scope faces, nothing floats or drifts.

Arm and disarm channels

Inputs read like scope probes. A lit chip is a folded trace; a dark one is parked. State is always visible, never hidden behind an icon.

[ LIVE CHANNELS ]

One warm peak

Cool mint carries the structure; a single amber beam-dot marks the one record that needs you. Alarm colour stays rare, so it actually alarms.

THE SIGNATURE

The trace is the hierarchy.

Forget chrome and title bars. In Beamline the waveform itself does the work — it divides sections, plots the headline numbers, and carries the live marker. The grid behind it is the measure; the amber dot is the answer.

1Lay the field. A faint phosphor grid sits behind everything so each value has a baseline, not just a position.
2Draw the trace. Mint phosphor plots structure; a calmer teal trace shows the reference channel folded underneath.
3Mark the peak. One amber beam-dot sits on the locked record — the only saturated colour in view.

SIGNATURE PALETTE

Cool field, one warm beam.

A petrol-graphite ground keeps the phosphor traces the brightest thing on screen. Mint and teal carry the signal; amber is reserved for the live peak.
