Risograph is the studio that runs your zine, gazette or poster as a real press — saturated spot inks pulled over warm stock, with the misregistration left in on purpose.
No CMYK, no four-colour smoothness. Each ink is its own plate, and the character comes from where they don't quite line up.
The first fluorescent plate lays down the loud layer — the one that carries the run.
The blue plate goes down a few millimetres off-register, so edges grow a coloured halo instead of a grey shadow.
Where pink crosses blue, the seam multiplies to violet. Depth from ink, never from an outline.
Violet isn't an ink we load. It only exists where the pink plate and the blue plate overlap and multiply — so every overprint is a little proof that the press did its job.
