The interface is cut into the stone, not stacked on it.

One dark mineral slab. A single low light from the lower-right. Plateaus rise to act, grooves sink to receive, and a mineral vein lights only the lip the rake catches — borders never enter.

The signature mechanic

Everything is a cut, read by one light

Take away the light and the page is a blank slab. The whole interface is carved from it — depth alone tells you what a thing is, and a single saturated vein marks where the cut is live.

Plateaus rise to act

The most-raised element is the strongest action. Hierarchy is height above the field — the rake gives it a lit lower-right lip and a soft upper-left shadow.

Grooves sink to receive

Inputs, search bars and tables are cut down into the slab. Recessed means editable — you write into the groove, and the surface holds your mark.

One mineral vein

The accent never floods a panel. It lives only on the lit lip of an incised edge and in small glowing beads — a single seam of colour the light catches.

No borders, one material

Separation is relief, not a line

Cards never get a drawn edge. Regions part because one is raised and the next is sunk, both pressed from the same dark stone under the same low light.

It reads calm and tactile at full information density — every cluster keeps its cushion of bare material.

How a panel is made

Press, cut, light

01

Press the plateau

Lift the region off the field with a paired highlight and shadow. The most raised plateau carries the primary action.

02

Cut the grooves

Sink the inputs, tables and search into incised wells, so the page reads as a landscape of convex and concave forms.

03

Light the vein

Let the rake catch one incised lip and a few beads in mineral cyan — the only place the accent ever appears.

Build on a surface that holds its marks.

A complete language — tokens, components, landing and dashboard — carved from one dark slab and lit by a single low rake.
