The signature trace wraps any record in concentric depth contours. The closer the rings, the steeper the change — a reading you understand before you read a single number.

A ticked sounding-rail runs down the page edge. Content sits in measured survey plates, not stacked boxes.
Dense data, softened: root-marker rows anchor each reading like a stem in the mud, alternating wash, and a state chip that recolours on the palette.

The imagery is hand-kept naturalist field plates: a confident ink contour line, topographic rings wrapping the form, and granulating earth-pigment washes pooling tide-lines in the low ground. The page wears them like a survey clipped to a dark drafting board.
