Read the water
where the washes meet

A field console for coastal crews. Two readings never blend evenly — they pool at a waterline, and that bright wet edge is where the day turns.

The signature

One edge runs the whole system.

Drop a charged reading onto a quiet one and it doesn't average out — it pools along the boundary, granulates, and blooms a warm backrun off the edge. Tideline maps that single behaviour onto everything that matters: the live band, the selected row, the primary action all carry the bright waterline; everything quiet steps back to a flat wash.

01 / seam

Sections meet, never rule off

Bands of colour give way to one another at a glowing waterline — a charged seam, not a sterile hairline.

02 / active

The lit edge is the live one

The current reading lights its waterline core with a feathered halo. You find state by where the water glows.

03 / backrun

Warmth means watch this

A coral backrun bleeds off the edge only where attention is owed — a warning swell, a turning current.

How a reading lands

Pour, pool, read.

  1. 01

    Pour the reading

A fresh depth or current drops into the band as a wet wash, deepest at its source.

  2. 02

    It pools at the edge

Where the new reading meets the held one, pigment gathers into a bright waterline with a granulating tooth.

  3. 03

    Read the line

The crew reads the day off the brightest edge — slack water, the turn, the swell that wants a second look.

Built like wet paper

Authored by a hand, exact where it counts.

The surfaces bloom and feather like pigment soaking into stock; the type, spacing, and controls stay disciplined enough to run a working shift on. Soft where it should feel human, sharp where a number has to be right.

grain

Humid, never muddy

Jewel-tone washes layered as transparent glazes — the lower colour glows up through the upper, and the paper stays brilliant.

type

Square-shouldered display

A bold expanded grotesque carries the headlines; values and timestamps sit in a quiet monospace.

dark

Wet paper at night

Deep indigo ground so the waterlines read like light caught on water — the quiet is depth, not emptiness.

Take it out on the water

Find the day on the brightest edge.

Tideline runs offline in the wheelhouse and syncs the moment you're back in range. One console, every reading, the turn always lit.
