PLATE KX-0001 / REV C CAL 2026-07-04 MERIDIAN CONTINUITY ARCHIVE
KX / 01 IDENTITY ON FILE

Every identity,
on record.

Kardex is the records instrument for institutions that grant access and must answer for it — who holds which key, who countersigned, and when the seal was last verified.

KX / 02 THE RECORD PLATE

One plate per person. Nothing implied, everything filed.

A Kardex record is a flat, legible plate: the holder, the keys they carry, the registrar who countersigned. No profile pages, no activity feeds — a document you could print and defend.

KX / 03 THE PERMISSION LEDGER

Access, written down where auditors can read it.

The ledger is the archive's working surface. Each row is one grant; the cyan pixel means its seal is current. An auditor scans the column of pixels the way a registrar scans a card drawer.

KX / 04 ONE-BIT SIGNALS

A record is verified, or it is not.

Kardex refuses gradients of trust. One small cyan pixel carries the whole verdict — lit when the seal is current, pale when it is pending, absent when it is not. Everything else on the page stays ink and paper.

STATE 01

Sealed

The seal is current and countersigned. The pixel is lit. Auditors pass over it without stopping.

STATE 02

Pending

A verification is scheduled. The pixel is pale until a keeper checks the record against the drawer.

STATE 03

Lapsing

The seal expires within thirty days. The record surfaces itself in the console until it is renewed.

STATE 04

Unsealed

Revoked or expired. The pixel is out; the history stays. An unsealed record still testifies.

KX / 05 THE SHELL

Ask the archive a question. It answers in writing.

KX / 06 PROVENANCE

Built for institutions that outlive their software.

“When the inspector asked who had entered the seed floor in March, we handed her eleven plates. She read them at the counter and signed off before lunch.”

KX / 07 OPEN A DRAWER

Put your institution on record.

A Kardex pilot files your first hundred identities, keys, and countersigns. If it can't survive an audit, we haven't done our job.
