Inkstone Language
I · THE WELL
硯 · Inkstone interface language

Suzuri

Structure ground from empty space — a calm interface language built on ma, one wet brushstroke, and a single vermilion seal.

II · Ma

Emptiness carries the structure

No borders, no boxes. Planes float on warm washi and the room left around each one does the ordering. You read the emptiness first, then the mark inside it.

III · Fude

One deliberate mark

A single wet fude stroke pools beneath the live control, the focused field, the section at hand — the only linework on the page, laid where attention already rests, drying from wet ink into dry-brush kasure.

MONO MARKS THE COUNTSLabel · IBM Plex Mono

Hierarchy is position and space before it is ever weight or colour. Emphasis is one stroke, one seal — never many.

V · Hanko

Sealed

Status, counts and confirmations arrive as one small vermilion hanko, stamped at a two-degree tilt. Reserved and earned — a single mark that closes the page, and never becomes wallpaper.

Sealed · one mark, one meaning
VI · Colophon
Suzuri

The inkstone is still. The ink is ground, the stroke is laid, the seal is set.
