A Children's Day exhibition where every koinobori is built from creases, not printed — one great sheet, folded into a sky.
One square, a whole sky.
No template is printed on the paper. The grid lives in the creases themselves — a faint mountain-and-valley blueprint that decides how every panel will meet.

Mountain, then valley.
Set the creases in order and the flat sheet stops being flat. Mountain folds lift the spine and scales; valley folds tuck the head and fins beneath — no cuts, no glue.
A carp, from a
single sheet.
The signature build: one koinobori folded from a single square — faceted scales, a folded head, a folded tail, the whole streamer reading as a carp in the air the moment the light rakes across it.
The marigold fold is lit.
On the last afternoon of the show the single bright fold is raised across the Great Hall — one colour, one crease, the whole room looking up.
