Hold a print between its two plates.
Under the glass the pink plate slides across the blue — misregistered at the edge, registered at the centre where the two inks overprint to violet. Move across it to close the offset.
- ApexBlue plate holds the frond; the pink edge trails a hair behind.
- RachisWhere the plates align, the midrib overprints deep violet.
