Tessera Arcade

A bright arcade playfield: electric-cyan ground with three hard highlighter inks — hot magenta, butter-yellow, and ink-black — stamped like sprites. Daylight, not a dark phosphor screen.

Do
  • · Keep cyan the ground and white or ink-black the tile faces; use magenta and yellow as highlighter sparks.
  • · Reserve butter-yellow for the cursor / peak / lead — one spark per view, never a field.
  • · Use ink-black for structure: edges, the playfield grid, and inverse-video stamps.
  • · Keep semantic colours (success/warning/error) a small part of the set; magenta doubles as fault.
Don't
  • · Do not wash large areas in magenta or yellow; they lose their highlighter force.
  • · Do not introduce a fourth signature accent or default the ground to white.
  • · Do not mute the cyan toward a tasteful grey — the bright arcade ground is the point.
  • · Do not pair ink text on magenta for body copy; keep body ink-on-cyan or ink-on-white.
