A fixed left station-rail (channel guide) beside a single content channel. The channel opens on the carrier band and scans top to bottom through the rundown, signal meters, the now-airing crop, modules, the tune form, and the transmission log.
Space Grotesk display headlines tracked tight (-0.025em); Zen Kaku Gothic Antique body at 17px+; JetBrains Mono for all operational truth — timecodes, frequencies, levels, file paths, status labels, log lines.
Low to medium: a calm night ground with compact data islands; the carrier band and rundown rail carry the structure rather than dense panels.
The carrier band — a pill waveform strip with a left timecode and a right level readout, a faint scan-sweep travelling across it. Supporting mechanics: the broadcast rundown (timecoded cues on one baseline rail with status badges), the now-airing cel crop, signal meters, and the on-air pulse (a green-glint dot with a halo) in the open header.
A fixed 236-248px station-rail plus a single content channel; on the dashboard a 12-column grid carries stat cards (span 3), an equalizer (span 8), and rundown/log (span 6). Content caps near 1320-1500px and centres on ultra-wide; only the landing hero is full-bleed.
Generous, with padding above every title; the night ground breathes between the carrier band and the rundown rail.

# Shin'ya ## Philosophy A late-night transmission console for the desk that keeps your operations on air until sunrise. Shin'ya treats the overnight workload like a broadcast: every job is a cue on a single carrier band that rides in, holds, re-cuts a dropped packet, and signs off at dawn. The interface is a quiet pre-dawn control room on a deep indigo-night ground, lit by a cyan carrier and lavender haze, watched over by a lone broadcast tower. The signature mechanic is the carrier band — one continuous waveform rail that threads the whole console and turns work into a scannable rundown. ### Values - one continuous carrier over scattered boxes - the night ground as the emotional register of a desk on watch - a tuned cyan signal under deep indigo authority - holds and re-cuts as honest first-class states - broadcast warmth, not surveillance coldness ### Anti-Values - near-white or light grounds - boxy hardware panes with black title strips - condensed uppercase military mastheads - green or magenta as broad colour fills - anime decoration without interface function ## Tokens ### Colors | Name | Value | |------|-------| | bg | `#0C0E1A` | | surface | `#15182B` | | surface_2 | `#1B1F36` | | text | `#EDEFFA` | | muted | `#8C92B4` | | faint | `#5A6088` | | primary | `#7FE9FF` | | accent | `#7FE9FF` | | accent_2 | `#C6B4FF` | | on_accent | `#0C0E1A` | | signal | `#3DE0A0` | | glint_magenta | `#FF6FD8` | | border | `#2A2F4D` | | rail | `#222746` | | success | `#3DE0A0` | | warning | `#FFC857` | | error | `#FF6B81` | | info | `#7FE9FF` | ### Typography - **Base Size**: 17px - **Body Font**: Zen Kaku Gothic Antique - **Heading Font**: Space Grotesk - **Mono Font**: JetBrains Mono - **Heading Weight**: 600 - **Heading Transform**: none - **Letter Spacing**: -0.025em - **Body Line Height**: 1.6 - **Google Fonts Url**: https://fonts.googleapis.com/css2?family=Space+Grotesk:wght@400;500;600;700&family=Zen+Kaku+Gothic+Antique:wght@400;500;700&family=JetBrains+Mono:wght@400;500;700&display=swap ### Radii - **None**: 0px - **Card**: 24px - **Control**: 16px - **Pill**: 9999px ### Shadows - **Sm**: 0 1px 0 rgba(0,0,0,.4) - **Md**: 0 18px 50px rgba(0,0,0,.45) - **Lg**: 0 28px 80px rgba(0,0,0,.55) ### Spacing - **Base**: 8px - **Scale**: [4,8,12,16,24,32,48,64] ### Surfaces - **Treatment**: deep indigo-night ground lit by faint cyan/lavender dawn-glow blobs; raised soft-shadow cards, never bordered - **Card Style**: soft 24px-radius cards on the night ground; pill badges and controls; a mono code label before the title; no border, no accent edge - **Bg Pattern**: a faint fixed dawn-glow blob layer low on the horizon; a carrier-band waveform threading the top of surfaces ### Borders - **Default Width**: 1px - **Style**: solid - **Character**: cool indigo hairlines (#2A2F4D) used sparingly for row rules and ghost-button outlines; no grey borders, no single-accent card edges, no heavy borders ### Motion - **Duration**: 180ms - **Easing**: cubic-bezier(0.2,0,0,1) - **Philosophy**: settled fully-rendered state is the default and renders with no JavaScript; a gentle rise-in and a travelling carrier scan-sweep are added on top; respects prefers-reduced-motion ## Rules ### Composition A fixed left station-rail (channel guide) beside a single content channel. ## Components
### Composition
A fixed left station-rail (channel guide) beside a single content channel. The channel opens on the carrier band and scans top to bottom through the rundown, signal meters, the now-airing crop, modules, the tune form, and the transmission log.
### Hierarchy
Space Grotesk display headlines tracked tight (-0.025em); Zen Kaku Gothic Antique body at 17px+; JetBrains Mono for all operational truth — timecodes, frequencies, levels, file paths, status labels, log lines.
### Density
Low to medium: a calm night ground with compact data islands; the carrier band and rundown rail carry the structure rather than dense panels.
### Signature
The carrier band — a pill waveform strip with a left timecode and a right level readout, a faint scan-sweep travelling across it. Supporting mechanics: the broadcast rundown (timecoded cues on one baseline rail with status badges), the now-airing cel crop, signal meters, and the on-air pulse (a green-glint dot with a halo) in the open header.
## shadcn/ui Usage
When the target app uses shadcn/ui, copy DESIGN.md with shadcn instead of the plain DESIGN.md. It contains the same Katagami design-language source plus the shadcn/ui primitives, imports, theme variables, component recipes, and preview-shot guidance.
DESIGN.md with shadcn: `/language/en-019ef865-3a2a-71c3-8d0a-b0d490dde723/DESIGN.with-shadcn.md`.
The shadcn page also exposes optional machine-readable files for automation, but the human-facing handoff is DESIGN.md with shadcn.
Install recommended primitives with `npx shadcn@latest add button card input textarea select dialog sheet tabs badge separator checkbox switch slider tooltip dropdown-menu table`.
Use these primitives in shadcn apps:
- button
- card
- input
- textarea
- select
- dialog
- sheet
- tabs
- badge
- separator
- checkbox
- switch
- slider
- tooltip
- dropdown-menu
- table
Implementation rule for agents: import shadcn primitives from `@/components/ui/*`, apply the generated CSS variables first, then compose the language-specific recipes from the companion MD. Katagami remains the source of truth; shadcn names are the implementation surface.
## Do's and Don'ts
- Do Keep the night ground deep and cool; let the cyan carrier define the signal.
- Do Thread one carrier band through the interface and let work scan top to bottom.
- Do Reserve green and magenta for tiny glints; keep cyan and lavender as the tuned signal.
- Do Frame imagery as a now-airing title-card crop with a job to do.
- Do Keep one button clearly primary (cyan); keep the rest ghost.
- Don't No light or near-white ground; this is the night side.
- Don't No boxy hardware panes, black title strips, or condensed uppercase mastheads.
- Don't No green or magenta as broad colour fills.
- Don't No nav trapped in a floating pill; let it sit open in the header.
- Don't No symbol glyphs in copy; use SVG primitives.
### Accessibility
Body text 17px+; high-contrast text on the night ground (no light-on-light or dark-on-dark); a cyan focus ring on every control; semantic states pair a coloured dot with a text label, never colour alone; motion gated behind prefers-reduced-motion with a settled no-JS default.
## Imagery Direction
### Pairs With
dawnvapor-cel
### Summary
Hand-inked anime title-card cels in flat silhouette fills over lavender-cyan haze, applied to a late-night broadcast world: a lone transmission tower on a dark hillside before dawn with a signal beam fanning over a distant skyline. Imagery always reads as a framed now-airing title-card fragment, never decorative wallpaper.
### Subjects
- a lone broadcast tower on a dark hillside before dawn with a fanning signal beam
- a distant city skyline as a thin silhouette band under indigo haze
- a quiet control-room window over a pre-dawn skyline
- cropped title-card fragments framed inside the now-airing window
### Usage
Use as the full-bleed landing hero and as cropped now-airing windows inside the console; keep deep negative sky for overlay headlines; never tile as a background or use as decorative wallpaper.

## Intent
A late-night transmission console for the desk that keeps your operations on air until sunrise.

## Visual character to preserve
- Make the source language's structural identity visible in every component state.
## ShadSync visual profile
{
"family": "system",

## Signature component recipes
### Button
Use `Button` for primary, secondary, outline, and ghost actions. Primary actions must expose the language's strongest contrast pair, while secondary and ghost actions should preserve the surface treatment instead of falling back to default neutral SaaS styling.
### Card
Use `Card`, `CardHeader`, `CardContent`, `CardFooter`, and `CardAction` as the main composition frame. Cards should demonstrate the language's surface, border, hierarchy, and density rules rather than appearing as generic rounded rectangles.
### Input and Textarea
Use `Input` and `Textarea` with visible focus rings, field labels, validation states, and the language's rhythm. Forms should show real product content, not placeholder-only controls.
### Select, Tabs, and Table
Use `Select`, `Tabs`, and `Table` to prove navigation, filtering, and dense data states. The table should show row rhythm, separators, hover/focus states, and an empty or status state when the language calls for it.
### Dialog and Sheet
Use `Dialog` for centered decisions and `Sheet` for contextual editing. Both should inherit the language's spacing, border, overlay, and motion rules.
## Preview shots
- `application-shell`: dashboard or workspace shell with navigation, cards, forms, and state badges.
- `detail-editor`: focused editing flow using input, textarea, select, switch/checkbox, dialog or sheet, and action buttons.
- `data-operations`: table-heavy operational view with tabs, dropdown menu affordances, badges, and destructive/empty states.
- Each preview shot must include a renderable `scene` payload with concrete headline, description, actions, and rows/fields/stats for the UI preview.
## Implementation contract
- Start from local `ui/src/components/ui` shadcn-style primitives; do not create a second component system.
- Apply `/katagami/shadcn/shinya/registry-theme.json` variables, then use these recipes for composition and state design.
- Preserve Katagami token names as source metadata; shadcn semantic names are only the export surface.
- Do: Keep the night ground deep and cool; let the cyan carrier define the signal.; Thread one carrier band through the interface and let work scan top to bottom.; Reserve green and magenta for tiny glints; keep cyan and lavender as the tuned signal.; Frame imagery as a now-airing title-card crop with a job to do.; Keep one button clearly primary (cyan); keep the rest ghost.
- Do not: No light or near-white ground; this is the night side.; No boxy hardware panes, black title strips, or condensed uppercase mastheads.; No green or magenta as broad colour fills.; No nav trapped in a floating pill; let it sit open in the header.; No symbol glyphs in copy; use SVG primitives.
## Copy-paste component example
This generated starter proves the import shape. Production Katagami agents should replace it with a language-specific product composition.
